View Full Version : Material Problem, 3d Studio Max Ressource Collector Problem

Hi guys, i was wondering, i got a problem with a scene and the render farm, is already ask to Fronk and the new teacher .. didnt know how to resolve it...
I did a ressource collector, and i still have 1 material ( metalscratch.tif) that i dont find in my scene, but when i try ressource collector, it ask me for it... same with ressource collector, it still take it in the new folder i created for that.... well if you got any suggestion :)

That texture could be assigned to many different things. As well as being part of a material in your scene, it could be a material in the material editor, it could also be a background image, it could be a displacement map in a displace modifier, it could be inside a blur render effect.

Go into Utilities, and find the Bitmap path editor, then find the bitmap in the list, and click Info, it may give you a clue if the bitmap is assigned to a node in the scene.

Another place to check if File->Summary Info, scroll to the bottom of the dialog and it'll tell you the location of a lot of maps in the scene.
