it's a DIVX about 14 Mb or so...
Hi everyone...just finished my thesis short BIRD FEED. It's a grim tale about a hungry bird taking advantage of a sweet old lady's generosity.

It's a really bad idea to publish your local hard drive on the internet. :surprised:
Instead you should try uploading the file to your website. As it is now it's just linked from your website to your local hard drive and that makes the link useless.:shame:

I just checked...it seems to be working fine...I hope.
Thanks for all the nice comments...You guys can REALLY critique me though...I could use the advice.
Thanks,
Fatty
How 'bout uploading the files to the internet before posting urls?
The technology hasn't evolved so far that you can have direct access to home computers from another one :D

"Too wierd for words" ...I like that! and I'm glad you didn't see it coming too...
One of my concerns was the texture I used when the old lady turns into Bird seed suet...
Did anyone not follow the story or get confused as to what she turned into?
Thanks,
Eric

Yeah I was lucky with the music. I ran into this guy named Joe Smiell at a German Bar in SF and he was nice enough to give me permission to use his music...I lucked out big time.
I'm gonna submit this short to Spike and Mikes Sick and Twisted, so any other comments would be really helpful
Thanks,
Eric

Yea, I had no problem telling what the old lady turned into. I just had to show this to my hubby, he thought it was wicked.
I'm an animation instructor, mind if I put this to cd so I can show my class?

Cool glad you liked it! Yeah, please share it with anyone you want. Where do you teach by the way? I just graduated from the Academy of Art in SF, so i thought I'd ask.
My server is down until sometime next week, so I hope you already saved the short. If not, maybe I can post it else where for you.
See ya,
Eric

Hello folks-
In the next month I was planning on submitting my film to Spike and mikes Sick and Twisted festival and wanted to get some feed back on things I could change, things that could be more clear, or whether you think it sucks big time and I haven't got a chance in hell.
Feed back folks...that's what i need
Thanks,
Fats
