A converted building office foyer/hall. I used c4d for modeling and vray for rendering using a 2.2 gamma corrected workflow. Some evermotion furniture models were also employed. I was going for a bright and airy look with lots of natural lighting. Comments welcome.

Nice modeling and texturing.
I think the lighting is overblown. Where is the light coming from?
Tweak the lighting and this will be excellent!

Bubbaloo, half the roof is glass and is a giant skylight effectively so there is a lot of light coming in through the roof. Also along the side are large windows. It's lit with a physical sky and physical camera to give hopefully pretty natural results.

Wonderful images. Sure the lighting is a bit blown out on the top but it should be if the part of the roof is glass panels. I like it.

i agree with bubba, it does seem a bit overexposed, especially the second shot. its wiping out a lot of the subtlety in the shading.
try turning your shutter speed up a little bit.
your chrome is looking a bit fake, maybe because its too bright in there, or maybe because of the material. especially noticeable on the front column of the first shot.
great scene tho and really nicely modelling and texturing. its looking good, but it could look great.

Nice work Paul - I do agree it's a bit hot though. Even if it's natural it takes the eye away from the area of interest. Overall contrast is good though - just a bit too bright at the top/edges IMO.

Ok, I see. The sun is coming in at the top. Need to adjust your camera exposure to compensate for the amount of light. It may be physically correct, but notice that's what everyone is noticing instead of your great scene?

Well things such as slight differences exposure are always going to be to personal tastes(as well as differences in monitor calibrations!). I agree it's pushing being a bit too hot but I was after a very bright natural lit white room. I'm doing some with lower exposure and different colour mapping and will post those later.
cheers
