Title: Shelby GT500 street scene
Name: Daniel Røsnes
Country: Norway
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Hi! I made this in my spare time.
WIP here (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=43&t=609699)

This was made with 3dmax for modelling, texturering and vray for rendering.
I used photoshop for textures and color corrections.
I rendered out lots of layers so i coud tweek the speculare, reflections maps etc.
In the beginning I was just aiming for a clean scene. But I felt like modelling a city too. So I found some pictures of buildings and just started modelling the houses.

I also made some clean renders of the car. Please see the links at the bottom of the text.

Im thinking about making a animation of it later. When I got more time. I hope you will like it, and please feel free to leave a comment or critique on the models, lights or overall.

Nice! I like the motion.
I think the car paint is too clean and shiny like a perfect mirror.

Thank you agep:) Great the you get the "feel of speed". It was one of the "main" purpose of this image. I just wanted to wait to see If I got any comment about it :P

Bubbaloo: Thank you! Yeah It woud be more "realistic" if I added some dirt to the shaders. But this is a heroic super car, and It cant be dirty lol. Just kidding.
When I made this car I aslo unwrapped the beast. So I coud make some details like dirt. But ended up with clean shaders. Its problaby because I like clean stuff:P

Here is a clay render of the scene.:)

How did you do that? is there a setting in Vray for this or did you just replace all material?
