Tutorial on cloth/spandex/form fitting fabric?

for "form fitting" clothing especially, or in my case, any clothing at all, I would personally select the faces on your mesh in the areas where the clothing will be, duplicate them, then solidify/extrude the faces, collapse the mesh and begin modelling wrinkles and such, just my opinion,

sorry, I meant how to create the texture not how to model it.
