I've had my seat of AE 6.0 installed on my machine for a few years and it's worked fine. Recently, I upgraded my memory to 2Gigs and right afterward I've had problems opening AE. Every other program opens fine but AE crashes before it can open. I've tried re-installing, repairing... nothing works.

One thing's weird though- when I install to the adobe directory and go inside the project manager to the adobe directory, it's not there it's actually located somewhere else inside of the project manager.:surprised

When I mouse over the Adobe After Effects icon in the project manager, the little yellow box says Location: C:Adobe\Support Files

Shouldn't it say Location: C:\Program Files\Adobe\After Effects

No matter how many times I uninstall & re-install or change directories- nothing works. I really don't know what's going on, any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I'm running win xp p4 2G ram
