i think that the model is going fine, it just need a little bit more of work, but keep working on it , i love the pose it seems like hes landing ;)

I get the feeling this is more a dog with wings than a dragon. He needs to be more menacing and more reptillian.

Yeah, it looks more of just a winged beast than an actual dragon.
Dragons, following the stereotype, are usually longer and more scary. This looks like a pissed alligator, lengthen the body

Make a bump map that corresponds with the "scale" texture, that will allow your model to pass off as more reptillian ;)

IMO You need to lengthen the neck as well as the tail. But there is no wrong way to do it.....

Do you read Anne McCafffrey books? Ive been trying to model the dragons from the Pern series. Yours would fit right in. Looking good so far.

Thanks. I originally thought of it as a demon, but as I drew it, before I modeled it, I thought it may look better as a dragon.

I will also have to agree with the 'not quite drogon' thing. Also, what is with the black marks, somehow they don't look quite right.
