Mine does that too, whenever i first creat a primitive (box, cylinder etc.) but as soon as i convert it to editable poly, or editable mesh those tri faces dissapear. Not really sure why it does this, maybe its supposed to I dunno, but you should be able to just convert it to Epoly, or Emesh and it should fix it like you want it.
I would actually like to keep the tri faces visible, does anyone know how to do this?

thanks inner for the reply...but you know even after converting to poly, the construction of the object still remains in that way. when I put on a wire meterial, I can see its still in tri face. I think there is a option where we can change it. Last time I did it but I forgot it..:(

is there anyone who knows...? it would be a really big help....

peace

try right clicking the object and going to Properties and tick the "Edges Only" box.

Hope it helps.
