View Full Version : motion flow ffd twisting
boomji 05-16-2003, 08:45 PM hi,
if i wanted to have an object follow along a roller coaster kind of path with motion flow applied to object...how would i avoid the unnatural twisting that happens to the object(FFD) on bends.
thanks

As far as I know, when you apply a motion path, that FFD is an option that can be applied at will, not a default deformation. :surprised

hi,
sure it's not a default deformation but what i'm saying is when i DO apply the motion flow thingy the dam lattice twists at places where the normal of the curve reverses...:annoyed:
i tried to upload a file but it was bigger than the limit.
thanks

Then I don't fully understand the problem nor have a way to reproduce it here. :thumbsdow
