its time for new artwork,
this is one of new screen-grab of my new demo reel 2008.
this time is sci-fi underwater theme,
when humankind are desperately looking for new energy source on planet, in deep and dark abyssal pit.
this is deep water marine.
in this baron high pressured sea we need special suit just to survive.
detail created with displacement map and normal map,
sculp in zbrush.

I like the overall look, just a few little things bother me: His suit still looks way too smooth, with no imperfections that might suggest it's been in dirty water as long as the texture suggests. Also, the suit is too shiny for it to seem underwater. Specular reflection drops off considerably when something is submerged. For plastic, it drops to about 10%-20% of its original value.
Other than that, I think you have a great mood set :)

good work, i like it...but i think the atmosphere would be more cloudy, it´s so clear to me... on any way, well done.

cool model :thumbsup: I would tighten/sharpen some corners and bevels though.

You did an excellent job at rendering this scene. I agree that the suit looks a little too shiny to be in the water and there could have been more ripples from the water effect.....But overall this a 4 star piece to me :)
