View Full Version : Porsche Cayenne - realtime
visualboo 05-16-2003, 05:57 PM Here's something I finished about a month ago. It's an Interactive User Manual for Porsche. There brand new Cayenne just hit the streets and this is what they're giving the customers as user manuals (they are also giving old fashioned paper ones too).
There is two (3d) parts to it. The configurator which is the first part of the video, and the 2nd part is the User Manual.
I did almost all the 3d you see. Very stressfull job considering the deadline we had.

Daniel: That video was just me playing with the final piece. It's CD based and we use director for all of our interactive work. We have some inhouse goodies programmed by some very talented people also.
However great job, how much hours of work?

wow, that's quite impressive. Very, very good work on that, so detailed! That is certaintly one heck of a nifty user manual :)
Now the car just needs a detachable in-dash computer with its own battery backup to play it back when you car breaks down :) (yes, I know there is a paper one as well)
