I got my copy of Ozone 2 delivered this mourning, so I tried it out on a few bits of old models I have previously created, this took 14 seconds to render. It is very fast and very quick to edit the environment.:bounce:

looks cool....one newbie question..the motion blur..is that done afterwards in photoshop..or can you have object motion blur calculated in still images?

Thanks, I added motion slightly in C4D and then a little bit more in photoshop by seperating the planes from the background with an alpha channel.

Are the clouds volumetric - would the aircraft be obscured by clouds as they gained altitude?

alienesque, to get the motion blur I just key framed the plane in a couple of positions and then just rendered one frame.

Ozone does not generate any true volumetrics, it does produce haze, fog ,light and a sky image which it itegrates together really well. Fluffy clouds you can fly through are still only really possible with pyrocluster. I did not really expect that with this product, but what I would like to see is the ability to put noise through the haze and fog so it is not quite as uniform and blanket like.

(the Ozone pic is the poster image)

This is my first test render with an Ozone sky worth sharing. Still needs some work for sure, but maybe gives an indication of how it can work in a scene. Besides the sky, there is also a little Ozone haze in the image.
