In my opinion, the pink secondary light on the characters seems out of place. Considering the characters are already warm colors, maybe a blue/cyan secondary light would be more fitting, especially in regards to the background?

Yurien - I painted the side light on a separate l;ayer so that I could experiment with what color would look best with it. I did try cooler colors from the sky, but a warm light really worked better (imho.) It proviced a nice contrast from the cool hues fo the sky, and held th epiece together be concentrating the warm colors at the bottom fo the painting and keeping the cools at the top. I don't really know what it's a light from, only that that specific color really wored best for me! :)

Shogun Warrior - I used a custom Photoshop brush (or two) made out of a bunch of dots with a spacing set to very low, so that I could brush in large areas of hair all at once. I only used the small 2-pixel brush for the occasional hair to break up the regularity of it all. Sometimes makign your own brush can save you a lot of time and effort.
