I find myself preoccupied by current conditions in the world. Evidence of severe climate change. The threat of pandemics. Food grain shortages as bio-fuel crops proliferate. Sadly, I doubt we will get off this road to hell...

While work in progress was not required for this competition, I was hoping that it was still an option to upload updates. I have created the geo and wanted to post a render. I would have liked some feedback on lighting. I imagine I shall muddle through....

I can't get your concept idea.

What exactly you want to do with these shapes?

Hi Gus,

Thank you for your comment. I realize that the uploaded image is causing confusion. I thought that the invitation to participate in the forum meant that we could upload images of our progress -- even though it was not a requirement. The current image is the color palette and suggests some of the 3D elements that I am currently texturing. Since we cannot post different stages of our work, I will not upload again until the final image. I hope you stop by again to see if my work successfully answers my theme of a world in crisis.

The final image for Imminent Reflections is uploaded. Due to a misunderstanding of the contest parameters, I posted this color palette wtih the intention of updating the image when completed. Please follow the link to the final entry.
