This is a self portrait painting i done last year, its done on
a 7ft chipboard, cause i couldnt find a canvas big enough:shrug: i painted it while studying my first year of 3d modelling and animation.

BTW..i had 2 scan it in pieces to get it into the computer so there are some seams where u might be able to see gaps:annoyed:

I like it. Am I right it is a impressionestic style? because of the color pallet and stripes? The colors give some feeling to the painting.:thumbsup:

Absolutely fantiastic hair and eyelashes

great work.... but your model seems like your relying a little too much on mesh smooth to smooth things out and into blanket generic detail. A few more cuts might help give it a little more realism.

That's nice, but it's not impressionism. If anything, it's abstract expressionism...but impressionism? Jesus man, get with the times...

impressionism is not really a school of art, but is has been practionised by some students like claude monet. This is just a way to show the world in different colors.

expressionism is a painting with expressions with colors and shape morphing. There is not a abstract - expressionism, because abstract leads out of expressionism.

van gogh did impressionism, picasso expressionism

i would class my work as an impresionistic style, like the monet paintings, their the guys i was influenced by...

How comes i never get this many replies when i submit my 3dwork, i mean it's better than my paintings:shrug:
