I just sent you an email asking if this was still available. I'd like to buy it if so, but wondering how the LW upgrade path works for later on. I might want to upgrade to 10 or 11 when it comes out and I'm curious if in the past it has been possible to upgrade from say 6 -> 8? Basicly can we skip versions without paying for them.

Upgrading is very affordable for LW, and you can skip versions, but you do have to pay for it. Like right now you can upgrade from 6, 7, or 8 to 9 for $395. So if you upgrade to LW9 it will only cost you $640, if you buy my copy and upgrade from it. That is a $255 savings on LW9.
