I have a question in regards to fluid velocity when driven by fields.
I am able to get the desired results up to a point after which the fluid velocity gets out of wack. I have a dynamic velocity with no swirl, turbulance, or buoyancy. I sometimes use radial, volume, and vortex fields (you can really tell with the last two). The sim starts well but then deteriorates rapidly and saddenly after a given point.
I have tried setting an initial state on velocity and then turning the grid to static, but part of what I am trying to achieve is to animate the texture coordinates via a grid method. If I do static method I get my coordinates to streak dramatically (that'll be another post in a few days).
Anywho, anyone knows?
