It looks like a maquette to me, I think you can achieve much more realism with better lighting and better textures. For such large buildings you should you several texture layers that become mixed so that the overall look is not so repetitive. So there's lots of room for improvement and potential here.

Why should be the aim of 3D always realism?,
I like the look of your work!,it looks a bit like those buildings in "Oblivion"

Nevertheless I think you should decrease the size of the clouds in your background image.
You have such a huge castle and with it comes a wide camera angle,
so that you have to see a large area of the sky.
The clouds like they are now,have to be really huge...
it's subjective,but I think they are too large.
