My work has also been recently featured in Gamasutra.
Let me know if anyone has any tests as I'm really trying to break into the industry at this point. I'm willing to travel anywhere in the US or Canada.
And I sometimes oil paint portraits, so if...anyone's into that thing?

Well I have a job lined up, except that they begin hiring in September. Ugh so if anyone has anything open for the next 3 months just let me know.

I should've mentioned that it is DIVX encoded.
you can download a free encoder off of
http://www.divx.com

ok let me download the latest codec. Would probably be better for you to encode the movie in mpeg 4, most employers might just not have the time to download and install the codec.

If an employer isn't technical enough to download a divx codec then they arn't technical enough to appreciate your work most emloyers were once nerds like all of us are now then got rich...so they probably know how to download the codec.

Ummm...I wouldn't be so quick to think that way. Allot of people in this industry aren't as computer literate as you would think. The idea is to make your work as accessible to potential employers as possible.

...or they may just be too busy to deal with codecs when they have only one afternoon to find 10 good modelers or something...
nice work by the way :)

Well, I know some mac users have a problem with divx that it shuts their system down. Hardcore.
Thanks though for all the interest. Hopefully I get up to an actual hiring position next year after school's out
cheers!
