Whoa! Whoever did the modelling and texturing on all these models in the shots should get some kind of award or be lifted up on everyone's shoulders!

Man! just the realism in these shots makes me think they were almost Real people and used motion capturing to animate them all into those poses!

I wonder how long it took to render those shots at that resolution!

Big ups to all involved in putting this together. Although I didn't get a chance to go, it sounds like everyone who was there had a great time.

I was there - saw all you guys (Leo, Tito etc) but didnt want to intrude :)

Was such as great time - LOTR day was AWESOME! I hope that the WETA guys will do another LOTR day for Return of the King next year!

Oh, and Thanks for all the food/beer....was so worth the 2 or 3 hours wait from the final session that day to wait for the 3D Awards! :D

Cheers!

Yeah, I have to say that it was really really nice to just walk around, eating, talking to the other 3d people, pros and beginners alike during the "intermission" on friday afternoon :) The atmosphere in general was very relaxed, very laidback. No one behaved as a diva which was a pleasant surprise. All the speakers and "celebrities" I talked to were very down to earth, modest and just really really nice folks :)

That weekend is definitely high up on my "best ever"-list :D

And thus begins the work on next years session...

vader_dk it will be held in Denmark next year also, count on it :)

yeah nice job on the writeup Leo .. I do miss the Red Dragon Barf Machine tho. .and the picture of you coming out of it.
I do regret not taking my cam on the tivoli trip, and up into the droptower, that would have been awesome, and with my extremely slow shutter speed camera the blur would be insane :)

Leo you think you could hook me up with a couple of the pictures from tivoli and a couple from after the 3dawards ? :)
