howdy folks
I am trying to animate a speedo and have divided the numbers and lines into seperate cloners so I can animate each one on. It's probably not the most effecient way of doing it but it's working for me. I have a step effector that animates some numbers scale and I have hit a brick wall as although I can see it animating in the viewport, I don't see it when I render either a preview or final render.
I have also included a link to the file if anyone feels that they can help. I am a bit stumped to be honest.

any help would be really appreciated

Sorry guys I worked it out but I'm still a bit unsure why it happened. To fix it I changed the transform mode to Absolute and the scale to 0.01. Having a scale of 0 produced the same problem and I think I remember a mylenium tutorial on Mograph that mentioned this. Anyone care to elaborate on why even though you can see it in the viewport it doesn't render( in the provided file that is).
