That first panel reminds me of WCIII. The second however while being similar in content is more cartoony and consquently has it's own visual identity. The blue guy looks tough, and cute at the same time, nice touch.

Simply stunning backdrops and concept work!!
for some reason i could see this being an amazing feature film..
I can also see some qualities to "lilo n stitch" and a disney twang
Still... looks amazing

I vote for the second one ! :)
the first one is more from a person perspective (leying on the grass.. hearing some rumbeling and seeing 2 comets raging by)
and the second is more staged.. the viewpoint is higher so it looks like its taken from a helicotper.. i dunno..

stenarts, i prefer the first image. If i were playing the game, would like to have those colours in..fits the overall colour scheme (taking into account the characters u got there) The second pic looks a lil too barren for me.
the second one in my opinion shows more feeling .

Beatiful game world !! Concerning the two images, it depends on what kind of color you want to give to the scene. The first is more "Everything's fine, birds are flying....what happens ???" and the second one is more cataclysmic...It gives the scene a dramatic aspect.
