Hey everyone,
I've been using lightwave for about 4years now but have managed not to poperly learn to UV map a model. I have tended to just use basic image mapping and do the rest using lightwave procedurals and shaders.
However, doing some modelling for computer games so gotta get it sussed.
I understand how to do it but i keep running in to this same problem and i have not got a clue what i'm doing wrong. Its probably a total n00b thing im doing wrong,but Here goes...
I modelled a LCD monitor.
Made my UVs and layed them out.
Exported an EPS to use in photoshop as a reference.
Created my texture image.
Saved the image as .jpeg (i have tried other formats too)
However this is where it goes a little odd.
When I try to load my image into lightwave's image editor its all stretch and distorted.
Any other image i use works fine, except ones ive created using an EPS as a referance. I've even tried loading the jpeg back into PS and saving it out again as a diffirent file but the same thing happens again.
