View Full Version : removing detail in Lightwave?

Hello,
I'm new to Lightwave (and 3d in general). I had a question about reducing detail in a model in lightwave and I thought I'd ask the gurus here at CGTalk (ambassador, etc.) how they would approach it. I've posted a picture here of the question. I'd like to know if there's a quick way to get rid of the extra line of points I have in the first image to get to the second image.

merge the polygons? that doesn't take long
or you could just delete them and make new ones?
