I will appreciate a lot if someone will show me how to make realistic wakes with foams at Dreamscape... I want to animated a boat on a seasurface with wakes and foams..I have tried to many, many times to find a solution but unfortunately without any satisfactory results..

Please click here to see what I want to achieve http://www.sitnisati.com/anims/BoatGO3.avi

Best regards,

The sea surface has built in dynamics (you don't need reactor), so when you set up your animation with the appropriate daemons, the sea surface will react to the movement of your boat model (you have some wake and foam controls in the rollout). This plugin comes with a host of video tutorials, one of which does a good job explaining this procedure.

So, if you are thinking about buying a copy, no sweat, the videos will help...if you have a warez version, you are probably SOL.

I have one more question... I have an sea surface which is Adaptive mesh an infinite plane with SeaMaterial .. this material cover all over my sea.. the color is blue. I want to add dark blue color near the end of my sea.. How this will be possible ??

You may have to tinker with a blend or composite material, using the sea surface as one and a gradient on the other...otherwise, lighting with color where you need it, or change the color in post. That route always gives you plenty of options.
