Title: Supergirl Pinup
Name: Tom Pollock Jr
Country: United States
Software: Photoshop

Another pinup for conventions. Nothing all to special, color in about 6 hours. Supergirl, one of the better sellers, for obvious reasons. I didn't want to do just a sky, so I did a kind of burning space kind of thing. And the main reason for it being red was simply because I didn't have any other red pieces. Let me know what you think...

The way the cape comes out from the border, and the heavy lines help the figure stand out really well. =)
The background has a nice interesting texture to it, but it would seem to call for either a more dramatic lighting effect to bring it together with the figure in the foreground, or failing that another more contrasting color.

I don't doubt that, the background was kind of an after thought. I was like, hmmm, I want something red, and I just made it happen.

By the way, thanks for all the comments, it's much appreciated. For more work, like lots more, check out my website: www.tompollockjr.com (http://www.tompollockjr.com) Because CGtalk only lets you have like 5 images up at once if you're not paying them.

Classic pin-up!

I like the background, it creates images of burning passion - but from afar, sort of a delicious frustrated yearning for the unattainable.

Or it is simply purty.

Thanks for reading more into... But it was probably closest to the purdy factor.
