that's awesome!
you've managed to bring some real life into that character's eyes!
real nice skin tone as well...
can't say i've got any crits... good job all round!
....but it's a slight pity that the armour isn't dirty or 'well used' that would really add to the picture

Hey
That's a very good model and the texture work rocks. The armor is heavily improved now in my opinion. It looks it has more history, has seen battle and stuff. You know what i mean.
Keep it up, you are on the right track :D:D:D

Excelent work on this one, I agree the armour is seriously improved now, it looks well worn, just like the face.
A very subtle alien face lots of human characteristics in there.
Good Job

Nice work snoky,
I like a lot the eyes and the bright of the skin, there is a bit of translucency in it ??...
Stunning textures, very nice work!

WOW Excellent work! Front page material!! :bounce: :bounce:
I would love to learn how you created such a realistic skin shader/texture. Can you show us the maps and explain a little to "amateurs" like me? I have a female character I'm working on right now but I haven't made any realistic skin or textures for her yet... But I have to try sometime!
he's scary!!! He looks real!
especially the eyes!
incredible! urk! aouch! mama!

awesome- one of the best.
only crit is the nostril openings have no light in them,
and look a little flat.
and think it could use a little reflection of the face on the armor underneath,(mabey just on the edges of the plates) and maybey a little touch of reflected light under the chin from the armor.
I think that would tie the face and armor together a little better.
great texturing!!!!!!!

I love it man, really. I'd love to see your maps, any chance you could post them? I'm working on a character now and it would really help me out on the color and specular channels to see what I SHOULD be doing as far as color chaos goes.

Great Job,
ALmost reminds me of a creature that could fit in the universe of planet of the apes.
wow that's impressive i love it! amazing render! the only thing i find strange is the reflexion on the nose. it's ok on the rest of the head but it's very strong on the nose itself. but maybe you want to make the whole skin very moist. however it's a really good job!
:bounce: :bounce:
i dont know if the word "moist" is the good word in english to say that but i hope you'll understand me... ;)

Wow man, great job.
A few crits: I guess you did it on purpose, but I don't like it: the reflections on the nose. I also agree about the armour - too clean.
That said, I you amazed me with the eyes! Man, they are just perfect!
