View Full Version : Export the same format as Import?

Hi, I want to edit a part of a huge movie and so I splitted the part that I want to edit out and imported into AF7, and now I want to merge that file together but it won't since they are not the same format. Is there a any to export a project as same the input file format?

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but if you work with the CS3 editions, using premiere and saving the project file there, and opening it afterwards in AE is a painless process. Adobe really tried to streamline every aspect of CS3 for a smoother workflow.

with this method, you won't have to export until after you've done your thing in AE.

Short and simple: no. This kind of magic requires other tools that operate natively on the compressed streams, not the decompressed buffers.
