Title: Film Noir Bathroom
Name: Chase Bickel
Country: USA
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop

This was a project of mine from school. It was actually my final project for 'Shading and Lighting'. I was told to represent a Film Noir feeling. I am pretty proud of it. I am completely open for comments,

hey thanks man... i was given a modeled scene, and told to give it lights and textures. they gave me restrictions though... they said it had to be black and white, take place in the 1930's (prohibition era) and also have a 'Film Noir' feel to it. and this is my result. Like I said this is probably my favorite piece I have done.

The lighting in a noire film has much more contrast than this. I like the sillouette on the tub though. You have a little too strong of bump maps too.
