took me a few viewings to realize that there was an insect crawling around on the ground, I was too busy watching your character! :)

I think it would be helpful if you had the character doing something a bit more interesting, then when the insect comes in, have him stop and focus on the insect in some way.. somehow you have to bring our attention to the fact that there's an insect there.. then, either anticipate the stomp a bit more, or make it more matter-of-fact.

Also, the shrug at the end doesn't really convey anything.. why is he shrugging?

keep going tho! :)

Hi,

about this animation, it can use some more work. But it was funny to see!

I'd ditch the wave at the start. There is no real reason for it.

Try pushing the characters emotion. To step on a bug is one thing, but to be in terror and then explode in a fit of fight/flight reaction is another. Or, if the character is afraid, if he is just doing the motion, try having him miss the bug a few times, getting frustrated and more determined with every stomp.

I think that you've got a great start, try pushing the inner workings of your characters mind to take it further.

Good luck.
