a new WIP of mine. about three hours into it. i just finished the blocking and some blending. The whimsies seem to have captured the gaze of a poor lost soul. my third seriously attempted painting.

The only thing I can critique is I think there should be a little bit of a shadow under the nose, and the lower lip needs to be a little tweaked. Cool picture.

Thanks exStatic1 i noticed the lip, but i would have overlooked the nose, thank youfor pointing that out early ^.^ update:
didn't do much in the short time i had to do this tonight. i just reined the closest hand. the fingers and all are pretty much done, i plan on doing a little more to the wrist. i'm trying to do the hands and corset first since i look forward to doing them the least and i don't want to lose interest later.

Great composition and emotion! There's a lot you can still fix up technically, though.

The biggest is with the hair on the right side of her face, which does not flow naturally and has odd shading.

Her left pupil is not looking in the right place as her right pupil

The shading on her breasts make them look oddly shaped

The blurry foreground objects should be at least partially in focus, that would look better (ie, part in focus part not)

The shading on her face also isn't quite right, not smooth enough..makes her face look lumpy

Her pinky finger looks a bit small or otherwise odd

The edges of her mouth could use some work to look more relaxed

I like the "fairy" feel

Keep up the good work
