Hmm I don't know if this is aloud, concidering that there is a person inside. I mean it is an engineered human with a lot of mechanics to it. Oh well I quess I'll see if it gets taken off. Have been working on it for two days on and off. I show the final result first and put in my wip after this

Here are also a 360 view of the model

well, the spacemarine isnīt in the list (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=5102547&postcount=1) where you have to choose your model from. and i guess it wonīt be added, coz it isnīt a robot nor an android.

btw the dark blue marine on the black background is quite hard to see..
if you want to improve your presentation google for clay rendering tutorial which should give you tons of links to get you started.
Or use simple screengrabs of your 3d app.

cheers

Games Workshop space marines shouldn't be allowed as they are humans in 'power armour suits', in effect like a storm trooper shouldn't be allowed. Yes the humans are apparently genetically engineered with better lungs and stuff but it is just a human in a suit... Necron are about the only GW thing that isn't a human in a fancy suit :D

Just the Necrons from what I see is on the allowed list.

To be honest I cant think of anything more heavy metal than the WarHammer 40K universe. Considering the Space Marine is totally covered by large slabs of heavy metal armour I think from a modelling point of view its more relevant than the Motoko Kusanagi, Batou and Data entries.

If we are going to be strict about robots then atleast allow Kalee to produce a 40K dreadnought. Afterall, a dreadnought houses the body of a hero who's been serverly damaged - just like the two Robocops which have been allowed.

if you are dead set on the 40k universe there are the dreadnaughts for the marines or the tech priests(cyborgs). you can try seeing if one of them would be allowed. cheers mate. :P

There's plenty of options from the 40k universe you could do - dreadnoughts, Eldar wraithguard/wraithlord, tau drones, chaos desfilers, dark eldar talos or anything necron. Some really good subjects to model in there.

GL;)
