welcome back from your art rut. i get those every 3 months, and they last for one month, regular as clockwork they r hard to work thru but u gotta keep plugging away man! coz this is really good, i can give u a lot more crit if u post the reference too ;)
that jacket round her waist is really well rendered. now get back to that tablet and away from vice city! (voice of personal experience ;)

thx for your comment. :)
so here's the reference pic i found on the inet.
http://www.derwolpertinger.de/cgpics/webj.jpg
it had a pretty bad quality though. :(
actuall i just recognized that her face looks way too fat in my painting, gotta change that maybe. as for the jacket, it actually des not fit in the painting very well cause it looks a bit too smooth, and i was going for that more structured look. but maybe i'll do another soft version of the painting, which is heading for more realism.
we'll see. :D

yeah do some rougher stuff, focusing on shape and value, quick stuff i think ull benefit. if its somethin u can paint from life do it, altho its much harder when doing it digitally.
People frown on digital portraiture which is so close to its reference, they suspect foul play. Im not suggesting u colour picked or traced. would be nice to see some stuff of yours thats raw.

that just came out of my mind, already spend much time on it and don't know if i am gonna finish this, or if it is worth to be finished.
