lol I guess so, something like that. I started out with a sort of scary teddy bear psycho idea, I want to keep it on the creepy dark side for now. I really didn't like the cowboys eyes how they were, I tried painting in some traditional eyes, which looked ok, but still not exactly what I wanted, so now I'm working with the same type of eyes as the bear has, just white big eyes, but I'm going to keep the 'x's and see how they work, if it doesn't look good, I'll try something else, but the look I want the cowboy and the other doll to have on their face is a sort of blank stare, as if they've just been killed, kinda how you see in a lot of movies, but it's difficult to achieve. I'm also going to try to paint in some gory looking intestines coming out of the cowboy, awesome! Any ideas are more than welcome, going mainly for creepy/gory/bloody/scary sort of theme. Thanks! I'll post an update after I draw more of the girl doll.

Oh man, I'm facing a pretty serious problem! I save my progress as I go when I draw something, so I've been saving this pic, and I noticed just recently, after about the 12th step, the file has become HUGE, the canvas I'm working on is 3,500 x 3,500 pix. I went back to see if I could figure out the problem, on the 6th one, the file size is around 11 mb, then all of a sudden the 7th one is 77 mb... wtf happened? I didn't add anything new, I just drew in the other doll on a new layer, but why would that make the file so huge? Now I can't save it as JPEG... only a few other file types...wtf? Anybody know how to fix this and bring the size of the file back down?

77mb isn't that much for a photoshop file. Sure a new layer willl add some but Hmm, still seems like a bit of a jump.
What exactly did you do?
The other thing is to check whether you're at 8bit or 16bit - if you've changed up to 16bit that would probably account for it.

Oh nice, I check the color, it was set to 16 bit instead of 8, that's what caused the huge increase in size. So back on track, working on the girl doll, coming along nicely so far.

OK, so I changed the cowboy a little bit, I decided to draw out his whole body to get the anatomy right, I showed it to a buddy of mine and he said someting is off about the anatomy in the dolls right arm, I agree but I can't quite make out exactly what, I think it should be pulled in a bit closer to the body, and the hand and forearm should be rotated (from the dolls perspective) clockwise? I also changed the eyes up, I like these a little better, but I'm still not sure if I want to re-draw them to try and make them better, I was trying to give the doll a sort of dead stare, like he'd just been gutted, so maybe a little more agonyish expression? Should I still go with that, the original idea was to have the dolls intestines out all over the place kinda gory like, but I was going to throw in a second doll that the bear character murdered, hadn't quite decided on it's placement though. Anyway, sorry about all the ramblings, I like to draw a few different drawings at once, although it's kind of a slow process, it keeps it interesting working on different things at once, so here's an update of the cowboy;
