I clapped a little.. ;D

I loved that we got to see a little more of Heaths actual acting, instead of just menacing stares and catch lines.

Cant wait!

I think i'll wait for the proper one. No point in ruining it with low visual quality and bad audio.:)

It's a trailer, a commercial for a product.

:p

Meh, after the 5 minute bank heist vid which was so awesome and seemingly from a much darker grittier film this feels like a cliched cheesy letdown to me. More like some of the old series than the new, it's kinda taken away some of my enthusiasm to go see it :(

^^^Really!?! Every bit that I see from this movie just makes the wait that much harder. Heath is amazing. Charasmatic and creepy all at the same time. Love the "You look nervous" line. I will admit the prologue was hands down the coolest thing shown so far but trailers are meant to get as many people in the seats as possible, and that trailer's going to get people in seats.

By the way the official version will be up Sunday here:

Yes. And people were paid to produce that commercial as part of a larger campaign. Bootlegs are great for the fan community, but disruptive to those people who've spent countless hours plotting and planning. Leaks and poor bootlegs can actually harm the product being advertised.

More over, as has already been said, posting a link to a bootleg is a direct endorsement for copyright infringement. As much as I respect CG Talk and Roberto himself, the fact of the matter is that neither party owns the actual property. Roberto may not have bootlegged it himself, but he is certainly condoning the act. Would he be so permissive of people posting links to pirated copies of Maya? I think not.

Again, with much due respect to Roberto, I think that to condone one yet condemn the other is equal to hypocricy. You really can't have your cake and eat it too.

I understand that there's a certain level of enthusiasm involved with these sort of films. However, it helps no one to be so impatient. The new trailer, as WB/DC has intended it to be viewed, will be along soon enough.

As far as the content of that trailer goes, which was leaked to AICN a day or two ago, ... ... meh.

I was never sold on Heath Ledger as the Joker. I'm fine with Christian Bale as Batman and Aaron Eckart as Two Face. However, I more or less have no love for Nolan's direction. The ideas presented in the first movie were solid, but the execution was all off - imho. From the botched presentation of Ra's Al Ghul to the mediocre camera work on the fight coreography, elements of that movie felt off to me.

It's rare that a sequel exceeds the quality of the precursor. It does happen occasionally, especically in the superhero sub-genre. However, some of the original magic gets lost between films. I'm holding out a slight sliver of hope for DK, but Ledger's apparent fusion of the Jack Nicholson and Caesar Romero Joker characterizations is a bit less than inspiring. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the scarred look.

I'll take a wait & see for now.

I liked it. I like the shitty quality as well, since I don't get half of what's going on, and that's always good nowadays, when trailers are real spoilers...

Some people got film reels through one of the viral games, and they contained a jokerized version of the trailer. Pretty funny.
