View Full Version : How do I Create a UVW tag?

Really stupid question but I can't find the answer in the Documentation. How do I create a UVW map for my object in Cinema 4D so I can unwrap it in Bodypaint?

If I make a cube editable it creates an UVW tag, but if I have modeled an object poly by poly so there were no UVW tags or if I have deleted the UVW tag, how can I create an UVW tag for it.

Can I create a cube (for e.g.) and then drag the UVW tag from that to my other object or does it create specific information for the object so it can't be transferred?

Add a texture tag with any projection apart from UVW and then right click on it and choose "Generate UVW coordinates" from the list.
