View Full Version : Easy camera fly through?
Kotayus 05-14-2003, 08:23 PM Im having problems with a camera fly through. I have a target camera and a track (being a spline). I have the align to spline expression and the spline is dropped in the expresion...all thats fine and dandy...however when the camera has the align expression, it doesnt want to move (yes i have object tool selected...) I just cant seem to get the camera to move...i have the scene file (from maxons site) the orbit scene...and i dont see what im doing wrong. lil help?

You have to keyframe the start and end positions. Did you do that?

i cant move the camera, i cant move it to the end of the spline.

Set your timeline to zero. Select the Align to spline tag. In the attributes manager with tag selected the position % is how far along the spline the camera is. Type zero. Right click or control click and go to animation > add keyframe. You then have a red dot to show it is keyframed. Next just move your timeline and change the percent you want the camera to of moved and add another key frame. HTH.
