View Full Version : Anyone experience with Fluid Dynamics in XSI?
[GFS]snoopy 04-20-2002, 05:19 PM I try to generate digital blood in XSI for a kind of splatter movie. Does anyone has experience with fluid dynamics and fluid shading in XSI or another 3D animation package?

I've make some test with fluid simulation in xsi, what's your problem?

I would like to know, how the workflow for fluids is and what kind of settings I have to affect that fluids look and behave like blood.

Maybe for blood you can use standards particles with a blob shader.
Standards particle simulation is quicker than fluid .
Simply create a particle simulation with forces, obstacles etc. and select Get>Shader>Blob
However if you want to use fluid simulation try to increase the viscosity in Fluid Properties Tab
