From the new registeration setup and the removal of conference select.. I'm not sure based off the following


Basic Conference Pass
Includes admission to the Art & Design Galleries, Birds of a Feather, Exhibitor Tech Talks, Fast-Forward Technical Papers Session, Featured Speakers, FJORG!, International Resources, Job Fair, New Tech Demos, Posters, The Studio, and the Exhibition. Does not include Reception ticket, Full Conference DVD-ROM, or Computer Animation Festival. These items can be purchased separately. A Computer Animation Festival Full Festival Pass ($175) can be added to this registration at the time of registration.



This sounds like last years conference select w/o the festival pass

Nope, this is like the Exhibits Plus from previous years, because it's mainly conference activities, but most of the conference program is excluded. What used to be the Panels and Sketches in previous years now are in the Talks and Roundtable sessions, which are not included in the basic package only the full package. Apparently what used to be the Special Sessions (now part in the Production Sessions) is only available in the full package as well.

So if you enjoyed things like Sketches (which you could attend with the Conference Select in past years), now the only option is upgrade to the Full Conference.

The full schedule should be available soon, so I'm reserving final judgement on the new SIGGRAPH format.
