View Full Version : Still Car Porsche 959pt WIP
ptaverner 05-14-2003, 07:47 PM Still working on this one. ( I work on it while my kids sleep! :)
The interior has to be made ( there's just a placeholder there for now), the mirrors, the back end, and some other bits. I have a pretty good scene in mind, but that'll come later. The floor is just a placeholder at this time. Here's the work to date....

Far from being complete. The texture will be completely different to what's being shown here.

Nice :)
Some odd things that I noticed are:
-No brake pads and all those necessary stuffs :p inside the wheelarch
-Headlight should be rounder than it is now...but seems like it's little too late to fix that
Coming along nice...post some other views too, with GI!

Thanks for checking it out and leaving some feedback. :)
Yes, break pads are planned along with a full interior, etc.
As far as the headlights go.... I changed them on purpose. ( hence it being a 959PT ;) ) I may add a few other bits that aren't part of a 959 just to personalize it a little more. :)
Thanks again for checking it out.

Added some brakes. I also changed the tires to a bump map from the modeled ones I had made.

Hey mwkmn,
Just a gi test. I was getting too wrapped up in textures and I was letting the rest of the modeling fall behind.
The model still needs mirrors, tail lights, a proper interior, and a bunch of tweaks. ( there's a placeholder for the interior at this point, that's why it looks a little funny )
Anyway, here's a shot with, and without the windows and headlight covers.

I'm hoping that now that I've taken the textures off, I'll finish up the modeling. I have to finish modeling this thing. I want to start work on something else!!!!!!!!!!!
