CGTalk - HELP!!! Medusa

Hello everybody! Well this is still in it's unfairly early stages right now, and I really need help. I probably should've used reference for her hand, but bleh. What's done is done. I really need help with what to do with her right arm- I don't want it to just drop because that looks odd. I maybe need more contrast in the whole thing, need to make the left snake more menacing like his green friend, and need to finish her necklaces so they don't look like she's wearing something out of a kinder surprise.

Anyway... help would be loverly! I have to finish this in two days, so not TOO many suggestions or i'll be overwhelmed! But help would be... fantastic...

EDIT! Also, her (uh, our left) elbow is giving such grief. What should be done with it?

This is a great start.

A few suggestions:

Her hand is too long for her forearm. Shorten the palm; the fingers look pretty good. Her pointer finger looks a little rubbery though. Add some bones and get rid of the wobbly curve it seems to currently have.
Get some reference pictures for the elbow. Take a photo of your own if necessary. You'll also need to move her upper arm out from the body more if you want to keep the angle of her forearm.
Maybe have her right arm interacting with one of the snakes. Scratching one fondly, perhaps?
I fear the snakes might be too big to look plausible. I'm not really sure how to get around that, because as is, they look very impressive.
She seems to be completely bereft of breasts at the moment. Even a petite woman should show some signs under her clothes and near her right (as viewed) shoulder where there's some exposed skin.

Ah thanks very very much! Will fix those up...I just had a look at some pictures of togas, and the breasts are still a bit undefined in the photos... I'm not sure what I could do with them except maybe put a bit more hill on the other and maybe try and put some breast looking stuff near her armpit... I also took some photos of my elbow in the same position but it looks a bit... strange and unpaintable... haha.

hmmmm so I turned the big snakes around, and I was going to have her fondling one like greenham suggested but I would've had to obstruct things I didn't want to, and change her pose a bit, so I'm STILL stuck with that damned arm. EEEH!

I really could use some feedback... I think her face colouring is a bit too inconsistant

And I don't know about the shading on the right hand (blue snake side)
