works fine here in R5 as well. Maybe building.ms can be adjusted to use fileIn, rather than include, and put some debug prints between each file being evaluated to narrow down the problem a bit.

try simple box 200x500x20 with pozitive Z. Check units in your scene, and in the library scene - should be equal.

Added SuperPainter v2.0 for 3ds max 2009 (also works in 3ds max 8, 9 ,2008)
Lets you distribute objects in certain areas or on the surface of another object. A variety of parameters are adjustable: number, type and weight of source objects, boundary spline, distance between clonings, random transformations and materials. It is possible to save and load script presets. The main purpose of the script, for which it was created - distribution of tree models on various surfaces and areas.

New features:
1. Correct button-trigger to turn script on or off.
2. Improved interface.
3. Ability to show/hide parameters of the source objects in the list.
4. Two new modes: SR (Select Random) and RS (Replace Selection).

Helps to draw a spline, like a AutoCAD Polyline tool by free or precisely coordinates, but works faster. Syntax of the coordinate input is the same as AutoCAD Command Line.
The user type coords in the MAXScript Listener Window (press F11 to open it).

New features:
1. Correct button-trigger to turn script on or off.
2. Freehand mode to draw splines by hand on XY-plane or surface of the Base-object (Hotkey F).

Macroscript VertsAligner v1.0 for 3dsmax 2008 (also works in 3dsmax 8, 3dsmax 9, 2009).
Aligns selected vertices of Editable Poly object to target spline.

Workflow:

1. Select vertices and press the button of VertsAligner.
2. Pick spline (the tooltip "Pick Spline" will be appeared in the prompt line)

Limitations:

1. The vertices must be selected as a row, e.g. there is an edge between neighbour vertices.
2. If the row is open then the first and the last vertices are always moved to the first and the last knots of the spline.
3. If the row is closed then the one vertex is always moved to the first knot of the spline (nearest vertex to the first knot).
4. The SplineShape must consist of only one spline.

What is the final target for this tool? For high-end facial animation it's a thing of the past, for real-time (games, web, etc.) it's too heavy. I could be wrong, sorry, but I'm really missing the point.

OneAcc

Please, prove that this is a "thing of the past for high-end facial animation".
So, you think it's unusable for high-end, web and games, and what about TV and cartoons?

i dont think it's a thing of the past
especially now it can import zigntrack data , i think it could be very powerful

P.S. i once emailed zigntrack asking him did he thought of linking the output data to bonyface, and the creator told me he didn't know but he will try. now it has it ;)

just wonder what will be the next release of bonyface. and what's the new features.
