Don't know if I'm in the right forum to ask this.
Has anyone heard of using Chromatek prism glasses with 3D software content for producing stereo 3D? It sounds interesting, and I'm including the link to their page that describes how to color an image in order to produce stereo depth using their glasses. This is not the anaglyph red/green method.
I am very interested to find out if this technology can be used in conjunction with 3DCC software (ie. ZBrush, Modo, etc.). There would need to be a script of some sort for the realtime display to color-code according to Z depth. Is this feasible and has it been tried?
Here's a link:
http://www.chromatek.com/Image_Design/image_design.html
The attachment is of an image properly color coded for depth using their glasses.
