I have done this image for a french contest something like one month ago. When I see it now there's some obvious "mistakes" but well what is done is done :)
Any comments are welcome;)
This is done in Lightwave.

I like the texturing job, though the lighting doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. As in, there isn't really a visible light source for all the odd shades of color (green lighting, red lighting on the bricks in the front).
Anyway, big props on the model & lighting job!

all looks good but like akroll said, the lighting doesn't have a "reason"... the scene needs a lightsource of some kind... other than that, good work :).

Nice job.
What are all the sparkels for, what are the purpose of these?

Come on guys, it's obvious that the light is an explorers flashlight and the sparkles are dust particles dramatically glimmering in said light stirred up by the first human footfalls in a thousand years.

I could be wrong though.
