here is the animated short I finished last year, that was screened at festivals around the world, like Annecy 2007. I hope you enjoy it!

Wow - great animation and storytelling. Really made me think... One question, though.

Everything, especially the two characters seem to have quite a low poly count. Did you do that for stylistic, or practical reasons (like keeping the render time down)?

I like the animation--very nice-- and the story is very well told.

Same question as Cornibies as to the low poly charcters.

thank you guys! I am really glad that you liked it and actually made you think. that was my main goal! :)
I did the whole thing myself, and it was full time job for 6 month (without salary:)). the storytelling took a lot, the right cameras, layouts. I kept modifying it for a while.
as I am a character animator I enjoy animating the most so I didnt want to make too complicated characters and environment, I also wanted to keep them in a simple style. so I could concentrate more on the animation and story.

this is the first time I post it to any forum and now I hope it will spread among the people through the internet, to reach many so I know it was worth it.

yea, you've definitely made a solid film. I'm most impressed by how compact, succinct, and deep your story is. It's really hard to keep it solid and meaninful in such a short period.
