Hi,
I got a strange problem while texturing my cellphone.
I set up the UVs without any problem but once I apply turbosmooth to my object, the textures stretch.

you can see how the textures look before turbosmooth

but comes the mess after applying turbosmooth

and here is my uv editor

looking forward for a solution
thanks.

try meshsmooth with iterations of 2 and use Classic instead of NURMS...
it may work...

Nope, I had previously tried that but had gotten the same result.
Thanks anyway.

Why don't you just put the uvw modifier on top of the stack and planar map the texture. Or put unwrap on top, planar mapping and export the layout to photoshop. Dunno why you need to have the UVs below the smoothing.

The reason is that it's much easier to set up uvs in lowpoly.
to solve this problem I made some small changes in the topology and it worked.

Thanks for reply
