View Full Version : shell like modification as in max

i need to have something like a mask for my character!
so i know itīs possible to duplicate the rigged mesh including skinning and blendshapes and delete non-needed faces, so the faces i then still have would be the mask and everything still works and follows exactly the movement of the eyes.
(i hope you can follow me here :) )

the problem is, the mask then doesnt have thickness...so is there something like the shell-modifier from max in maya? something i can lay on top of my rigged mask-mesh so it still works?
