How do i make an animation go slower, like the playback options where you can set the 1/4 of the normal speed for example?
I increased the amount of frames it would render, but it took too long time ;/
Is there another, smarter/faster/better, way of doing this?

No. Increase frames and playback at normal rate. You can slow down or duplicate the playback rate frames - but the slower motion will become chunky.

animate your scene so it is slow motion, render more frames and play it back slowly, or use some sort of retiming program on your animation after it si rendered.
