Hi there!
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips how to do a spiderman web, that animates from one object to another, just like in the film. I work in Maya. It's more like i'm not sure how to model a spiders web easily and quickly that'll look realisticly animated.

Cheers!

I guess it takes a bit of experimenting, my aproach firstly would be using animated slines linking the first vertex/point of the spline to the hand and animate the rest of the spline towards a roof top or whatever, if when you link the vertex to the hand you do a soft selection you'll be able to animate your spiderman at the same time and afect the stretch or squeeze of the vertexes on the spline. make this spline renderable and voila... you can always use the spine as a path for particles if you want a better texture/effect result.
All this referes to Max but I'm sure u can do something using the same process in Maya.
hope i didnt make it to confusing for you.
