Title: Lamp
Name: Furu Maru
Country: Germany
Software: Lightwave 3D
I made this for a 3d speed-battle in a german forum. It's an old oil-lamp. The textures of the lamp are completely procedural. :-)
Model: LightWave 9.3.1
Render: FPrime 3.2

The textures are great, care to elaborate on them a bit?

Sure. Here is a screenshot of the lamp material. The most important is the "ee_GritNode" because it controls where the corrosion is visible on the mesh. I use a lot of procedurals to get a nice random-look. :)

I like textures too, depth of field makes image really nice.

I think that the texture is not so realistic in the way that the aged/worn areas seem random instead of in the most used/rubbed areas. Know what I mean?

Yes i know but it was a speed-battle with limited time. The random corrosion was a pretty fast way to get the aged look. ;)
